By Deangelo McDaniel
The Decatur Daily

The National Weather Service in Huntsville said freezing rain and ice are possible as a winter storm system moves across the Tennessee Valley late tonight and into Friday.

Ice accumulations up to one quarter of an inch will be possible, especially on bridges and grassy surfaces.

The freezing rain advisory runs from 3 a.m. until 9 a.m. on Friday.
